Turbo Internet is the common "click-and-pull" Internet browsing
that is familiar to anyone who has used the Internet. The difference
with Agristar Global Networks is that we deliver the Internet at high
speed, up to 50 times faster than typical rural dial-up access.
We provide subscribers complete access to the entire World Wide Web
– you can visit everywhere. And because it’s high speed,
there are no Internets sites that are too data-intensive for your
system to handle – everything from graphics-heavy sites to large
streaming media files can be downloaded in seconds. The World Wide
Web has never been so accessible or enjoyable.

1.2 Mbps Multicast Video
Streaming.
Agristar Global Networks has the ability to broadcast very high-resolution
video with CD-quality sound (1.2 Mbps stream rate) to the entire subscriber
base, or to select sub-segments of the subscriber base. This enables
specific programming to be tailored and delivered at pre-determined
times to farms, ranches and agribusinesses residing in a particular
region, to producers raising a particular commodity or to those identified
as registered for a specific agricultural program, such as a videoconference
or distance-learning program.
And because the data stream is high-resolution, videos can be enlarged
to full screen size with little pixel degradation, providing a much
more engaging medium than the 2-inch by 2-inch picture screens used
to display low-bandwidth video on the Internet today.
This is a separate delivery pipe from the Turbo Internet connection
mentioned above, so our users can view full-screen, high resolution
video multicasts while also viewing a slideshow posted on the Web,
providing feedback about a video presentation via online message boards
or instant messaging, or accessing other Internet sites. Please Note:
1.2 Mbps multicast video streaming is only available on a special
program basis.

3 Mbps Multicast Package
Delivery.
Our systems also have the ability to transmit, on a strictly opt-in
basis, any type of electronic file directly to users’ computers
via a high-capacity 3 Mbps burstable download transmission. This enables
the Agristar Global Networks to “pre-fetch” data-intensive
programming directly to a subscriber’s computer, including weekly
video news presentations, instructional videos, high-resolution maps
and other multimedia presentations. By pre-fetching data-intensive
programming, it can be delivered “on demand” and eliminate
any wait time due to the material buffering or downloading because
the information is accessed directly from a hard drive – the
fastest access possible.
Specific viewing applications such as new releases of the Macromedia
Flash Player, or the specialized commodity tracking and management
tools needed to capitalize on profit opportunities with value-enhanced
commodities, also can be efficiently transmitted using package delivery
so that producers and agribusinesses are able to stay current with
critical computer applications.
Package delivery is a push technology and thus is a completely passive
process from the subscriber’s standpoint. You need only to leave
your computer on at the scheduled delivery time and the requested
file will arrive automatically in a pre-determined folder. Please
